"Corto Moak" International Short Film Contest - Rules 2010
ART.1
Caffč Moak and Kronos Cultural Association announce for 2010 the 5th edition of Corto Moak international short film contest.
ART.2
The contest is open to short films shot in all formats, of all genres and techniques (fiction, animation, documentary, experimental), regardless of their country of origin.
Each filmmaker will be allowed to submit only 1 film on any topic that has some reference to coffee (to intend in a wide meaning as plant, seed, meeting place, drink etc...).
The short film can be realized in any language, including dialects. Film using a language other than Italian must be subtitled in Italian. Running time must not exceed 20 minutes.
ART.3
In order to submit a film send: A DVD copy of the film; A selection of 5 stills from the film; A duly completed, signed entry form in PDF or Word and in a printed copy; Receipt of the entry fee.
ART.4
All submissions, documentation materials and videos must be sent by ordinary mail or express courier no later than 27th April 2010 to the following address:

ART.5
The entry fee is 15,00 euros payable to the postal account: number 57725301, Centro di Formazione e di Iniziative Culturali ed Ambientali, via Risorgimento 10/B, 97015 Modica(RG), Italy.
The fee can be paid by check or in cash, and sent with the submission; or on-line with Italian Post using IBAN code: IT36 X076 0117 0000 0005 7725 301
ART.6
Commercial and industrial films are excluded from this competition.
ART.7
Illegible DVD won’t be accepted.
ART.8 JURY
The jury is composed of five film experts:

HONOR JURY
The jury of honor is composed of the following members of Moak company:

ART.9 SELECTION
With unchallengeable judgment, the jury select from all submissions: - Finalists - Three winners
ART.10 AWARDS
The jury will award the following prizes:
- 1° winner 1.500 euros by check
- 2° winner 1.000 euros by check
- 3° winner 500 euros by check
The day before the awarding night, a public screening will be held where finalists and winners will be showed, while during the award ceremony only the winners.
The winning authors undertake to collect the prize at the award ceremony.
ART.11 PUBBLICATION
Finalists and winners will be showed on the website of the contest.
ART.12
All short films become part of the film library “Corto Moak”.
ART.13 JURISDICTION
The organization of the contest reserves the right to make changes to the regulations. Participation in Corto Moak implies the acceptance of these Rules and Regulations. Pursuant to Legislative Decree 196/2003 personal data relating to the participants are used only for the purpose of the contest. Any cases not covered by these Regulations will be submitted to Italian law. Should there be any interpretation problem from the present regulation, the Italian version will be considered final. Any issue relative to the observance or interpretation of the present regulation will be decided by the Courts of Modica (RG).
