A brief synopsis
In a familiar morning Egidio Poletti, an employee from life scanned by the pace of work, he goes in his office. Egidio is always overwhelmed by the grey and redundant daily tasks. His single moment of escape is the coffee break. Except that today is not a morning like any other, because his PC has decided to exit from normal to take a personal "coffee break".

Jury Comment
The short film with the grace and irony of the subject and the wisdom with which technology has been achieved, reveals an effective and immediate denounce of inhuman relations with technology.

Biography of the director
Chiara Falcinelli student in Media Arts at the Accademia di Belle Arti di Carrara (MS). Actually she works on producing videos and photos and collaborates with the Association Wulcania Multimedia Studio. In summer 2006 she realized with Giacomo Verde an interactive video installation for the event "Ipse Dixit" for Pisa. In spring 2007 she did as video operator " Viaggio nelle terre del Rinascimento", a documentary video of artist for the Museum of Vinci. In November 2007 she documented, with video and photos, the first stage of the project in Syria " Le vie scendevano ad oriente”, a horse expedition that follows the paths of silk.

Alice Tambellini graduate in Media Arts at the Accademia di Belle Arti di Carrara (MS). She is devotes to animation and stop-motion video. In 2005, she wrote and interpreted the short film " La catartica storia del mio amico ANIN" (live-action), produced live-action short film "Iii-ah! Iii-ah! "For which she received the first prize of the jury of the contest Enel Digital Contest. In 2006, she realized the stop-motion animation " Drammi di Mezzanotte" and the following year, with the same technique, the short film "Soap Opera". In the same year she also produced a television spot in animation (stop-motion) for the event tecknos unopuntozero.
In 2008, she realized the short film “Un Happy Hour” in stop-motion animation.
