A brief synopsis
The story, freely inspired by a story of the Chilean writer Luis Sepulveda, tells of a couple, a boy and a girl, and their relationship placed in front of one and more cups of coffee. The latter serves as a unifying element and at the same time divisive tendencies within the pair; essential for the fate that awaits the two young people.

Exploring the end of a relationship, through the rituals of daily life in a gesture which the coffee in the morning becomes a metaphor of attempts to save a relationship, the film tells a story with very few words, using film as purely means the machinery, editing and music,

Biography of the director
Francesco Russo born in Palermo on 22/11/1983. In 2004 he qualified at the Liceo Classico Statale "Umberto I" in Palermo. In September of that year he moved to Padua to pursue university studies. Currently student at the Facoltà di Lettere e Filosofia – D.A.M.S. – Discipline delle Arti, Musica e Spettacolo - (Curriculum Spettacolo) – dell’Università Degli Studi di Padova.
He has done various works and participated in various projects: in 2005 he realized his first job, " Ad Occhi Aperti" a video clip of 37 minutes mentioned in his master's degree; in 2006 he made " La Staffetta", a short film whose theme is rooted on the relationship between man and God.
In Padua, in the same year, he met Antonio Carnemolla, a young Sicilian street artist with a passion for cinema, and he collaborated with editing "Mari Bruciatu", a documentary on the complaint depressing reality of fishermen in Marzamemi, small village site in Sicily, in the province of Ragusa.
He Realized, with his cousin and university colleague Danilo Terminelli, " Cinico Visioni", a documentary in tribute to the two Palermo directors, Daniele Ciprì and Franco Maresco, selected as a finalist at the international festival of short films and documentaries "UniversoCorto" of Pisa and the "CortoDamsFestival "Monte (CN).
In 2007, while realized two short films, "Hamim" by Antonio Carnemolla and "In polvere", he worked in the drafting of his first screenplay, " Il silenzio di cera”, finalist at the festival of short films and screenplays" MitreoFilmFestival "Santa Maria Capua Vetere (EC). Currently he is committed to writing the screenplay of his next short film.
During the university his course has recognized him credits for participating and assisting the film festival in Trieste, Venice and Udine.

Danilo Terminelli born in Palermo on 05/11/1976. In 1999 he qualified at the Istituto Tecnico Commerciale "Vittorio Alfieri" in Palermo. After graduating he left for a few years studies to dedicate himself to a variety of jobs that have brought him first in Bergamo and then in Padua, where he decided, in 2005, to resume his studies by joining the DAMS (Curriculum Entertainment) at the Facoltà di Arte at the Università in Padua. Most of the other years his passion for photography and visual arts matured. In the same year, he realized his first job, "Raccolta Videoclip 01", remained unpublished. In 2006, with his cousin and colleague Francesco Russo, he performed "La Staffetta", a short film whose theme is rooted on the relationship between man and God, mentioned in his degree course. Later, with the help of Francesco Russo, he realized " Cinico Visioni ", a documentary in tribute to the two Palermo directors, Daniele Ciprì and Franco Maresco, selected as a finalist at the international festival of short films and documentaries "UniversoCorto" of Pisa and the "CortoDamsFestival" of Montà (CN).
Disappointed and not motivated from being "just a number" in a little strong university system and little pay, he decided to abandon his studies.
That same year, along with Francesco Russo, he performed "In polvere". He currently works at the Fincantieri of Mestre.
